Now the Curtains

Now the Curtains

Amazing efforts to help the victims of the 4th August 2020 Beirut explosion and those whose homes were savagely destroyed have come together.
Restoring windows and doors, giving back a sense of home, helping the less fortunate...
The replacement of the damaged textiles, especially the curtains, has become a sudden need.
The Warde team quickly formed a crisis cell and built a sizable platform to coordinate with the NGO workers on the ground in any devastated section of the city, asking for their assistance in restoring the ripped curtains of destroyed homes.
Together with curtain manufacturers, Warde Textiles has pledged to replace damaged curtains at no cost to those who could not afford them.
Despite a 36 percent downturn in yearly sales in 2020, the team felt an obligation to replacing the torn fabrics in blast-ravaged neighborhoods, complete with rods, sewing, and installation. The store was also offering deep discounts if, you were fussy about the fabric to be chosen and could afford it.
The company will have aided 1675 households (in total 10366 individual windows) and provided 48,000 meters of textiles free of charge by the end of 2020.
We are really appreciative of our team and partners who took part in this beautiful voluntary gesture after seeing all the work that has been completed and the wellness it did to the people of Beirut.
This showed unequivocally that the Lebanese people can be amazing, effective, and hard workers, and that cooperation is essential to the successful reconstruction of our beautiful nation.
